This course describes the skills and knowledge required to plan one’s own work schedules, to monitor and to obtain feedback on work performance and development. It also addresses the requirement to take responsibility for one’s own career planning and professional development.
COURSE STRUCTURE
This course is divided in 7 sections with questions posed at the end to reflect on learning. After successful completion of the course, learners will be awarded a certificate of course completion.
At the end of this course, learners would be familiar with the following:
- Preparing work plans that reflect consideration of resources, client needs and work group targets.
- Analyzing and incorporating work objectives and priorities into personal schedules and responsibilities.
- Identifying factors affecting the achievement of work objectives and establishing contingencies and incorporating them into work plans.
- Identifying and assessing personal performance standards through self-assessments and feedback from others.
- To seek and evaluate feedback on performance from colleagues and clients.
- Identifying sources and plans for opportunities for improvement in liaison with colleagues.
