This course describes the knowledge and skills required to conduct market research using interview and survey methodologies (not specialist statistical design and analysis) and to report on findings.
COURSE STRUCTURE
This course is divided in 7 sections with questions posed at the end to reflect on learning. After successful completion of the course, learners will be awarded a certificate of course completion.
At the end of this course, learners would be familiar with the following:
- Identify options for information collection and collation tools and methods.
- Report initial research findings in approved formats in accordance with organizational procedures.
- Develop hypotheses and research objectives for market research
- Identify options for quantifying data.
- Determine and test methods of data extraction, collation and analysis.
- Identify respondents in line with research and organizational requirements.
- Record data and information gathered in approved formats, in accordance with organizational procedures.
- Select appropriate techniques to summarize data and information.
- Interpret and aggregate data and information including categorization, to provide observations relevant to research objectives.
- Prepare research reports.
